Funding Opportunities
GAFIO will offer the following education programs to individuals. Funding programs will be tailored based on financial availability.
(1) Fellowship Program: This program provides funding for fellows to conduct innovative AI research in oncology. It will select 3-5 fellows, each receiving a $10,000 award for one year. Eligibility requires GAFIO student membership.
(2) Resident/Fellow Prize: This program provides funding for fellows at the GAFIO Annual Meeting, selecting 3-5 best presentations, each receiving a $1,000 award. Eligibility requires GAFIO student membership.
(3) Education Scholar Program: This program supports the development of oncology AI online educational resources, selecting 1-3 awards, offering up to $20,000 for one year. Eligibility requires GAFIO membership.
(4) Research Program: This program supports the development, evaluation, and clinical translation of innovative AI technology in oncology, selecting 1-3 awards, offering up to $50,000 for one year. Eligibility requires GAFIO membership.
